METHOD OF PAYMENT:

Tuition and other fees must be paid by certified cheque or money orders over a period of two semesters. Fees must be paid prior to September 1, 2008 for the first semester and by January 1, 2009 for the second semester. In order to secure your place in the program, students must send a deposit of $500.00 upon notification of acceptance into a program. The deposit is nonrefundable and will be applied towards first semester tuition. Please note that the official letter of acceptance will not be released until the Toronto School of Music has received the deposit.

For international students, full tuition payment is required upon notification of acceptance into a program. Please note that the official letter of acceptance will not be released until the Toronto School of Music has received full tuition from the student. This full tuition payment is refundable. Please refer to our school's Tuition Refund Policy.

Other Fees (non-refundable): Application Fee: $250.00 CAD

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:

The Toronto School of Music offers many financial assistance options to our students. Performance and Advanced Diploma students who receive exceptional results in their audition, may qualify to receive funds that cover their tuition fees. All applicants are automatically considered. Please note that many of our scholarships are available to Canadian students and only a limited number to those students who demonstrate extreme need.

TUITION REFUND POLICY:

Students who wish to withdraw from the program must submit a written notice of withdrawal in order to receive a refund of tuition fees. The date on which the written withdrawal notice is received in the registration office is considered the official date of withdrawal. A $25.00 processing fee is levied against all refund requests. It takes approximately 60 days to receive a full refund.

If an international student is subsequently refused a Student visa by the Canadian Embassy, or refused an exit visa by his/her own country, the student is entitled to a refund provided the Toronto School of Music is immediately sent the original visa rejection notice. A refund of 95% of tuition fees will be issued provided the Toronto School of Music has received the full tuition from the student.
