The Toronto School of Music Canada is constantly looking for talented and passionate instructors to teach our students.

Positions currently available: 

1. Secretary: (Skill Requirements)

Education: Completion of high school, some college/vocational or technical training

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, Dictaphone, General office equipment, Word processing software

Typing (Words Per Minute): 61 - 80 wpm

Shorthand (Words Per Minute): 0 - 40 wpm

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Computer use, Continuous learning

2. Theory Instructors to instruct in basic rudiments, composition, history, sight-singing, etc. 

3. Voice & Instrumental Instructors (especially Violin) for private or group lessons.

4. Diction Instructors in German, French, Italian, Russian, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must have at least 5 years experience 
2. At least a masters degree in your field 
3. Patience and love for teaching
